Head Resourcing are working with an offshore survival products company who are on the lookout for experienced Software Engineers to join the team. My client who are developing a remotely operated Search and Rescue (SAR) Service for the Offshore Renewable Industry has specialist expertise in SAR operations, technology integration and automation systems
Due to continued growth, they are looking for multiple software engineers to continue this journey with them.
In the team you will,
*Drive software engineering best practice while designing the world's foremost maritime systems.
*Develop and deploy cloud software framework for computer vision processing
*Design and develop innovative REST APIs and SDKs to deliver computer vision and machine learning capabilities
*Provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation, and support of Java and Python software
*Be responsible for the architecture of software solutions, determining current limitations and compatibility between subsystems, the selection of new concepts and methodology, and the development of major routines and utilities.
*Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications.
*Demonstrate best practices for software development and documentation, making sure designs meet requirements, and delivering high quality software on tight schedules.
In order to be successful in the role, candidates need
* Domain knowledge of Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, OpenCV, PyTorch)
* Experience with working on cloud AI services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
* Experienced software engineering with full development life cycle
* Java or Python programming and debugging skills (ideally 3+ years)
