Job DescriptionTraining AssistantThe Training Assistant will possess extensive knowledge, experience, and a track record of exceptional performance in the creation and facilitation of effective outcome-oriented business and escrow training. This position will focus in creating, refining, and updating training courses and support materials. Regular and ongoing scheduling and facilitation of training content customized for different brands, delivered using virtual platforms, will be an ongoing responsibility. Duties & Responsibilities of the position:The Training Assistant position in this learning organization requires an individual with strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate in problem-solving. This individual must demonstrate an exceptional ability to understand and support each of the real estate brands' initiatives, challenges, support tools, and culture, and to adapt their training facilitation to support each brand. This individual needs an understanding of adult learning principles, along with proven and emerging methodologies and technology that support learning effectiveness. This individual must stay abreast of best practices in instructional design, blended and social learning, learning management systems, virtual delivery learner engagement options and other relevant aspects of learning.The Virtual Instructor must demonstrate a strong ability to manage training sessions to drive optimal and measurable outcomes and results, including increased utilization of brand tools and systems, and increased productivity. Reporting Structure:Reports to the Senior Trainer.Additional Duties/Responsibilities:Collaborate, serve and support across all departments and brands in developing courses, programs and initiatives that advance the strategic objectives of the company.Collaborate in the creation, revision or update of new and existing courses and training content as requested.Participate as co-facilitator in certain brand sponsored training courses, with brand staff. Provide producer support for various meetings and courses as requested across the company.Record audio tracks for use in eLearning courses as requested.Create and maintain PDF job aids to support tools, procedures or systems related to virtual delivery or course content. (PowerPoint, SharePoint and other mediums)Contribute to writing and refining class communication templates including pre-class letters, follow up emails, certificate of completion communications, etc.Maintain detailed class attendance records and proactively communicate attendance to brands and leadership on a weekly basisKnowledge of how to create short quick tip videos on how to use specific functions in CORE, Outlook, PDF X-Change and WordAssist with large scale roll out trainings via Teams. Co-Host/Moderator to assist with muting participants, downloading attendee list and monitoring the Chat window.Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with individuals at all levels across the organization, all brands, affiliates and agents.Strong organization and time management skills.Exceptional success in leading and facilitating results-oriented virtual courses.Proven experience in delivering virtual training through best-in-class learning platforms like Zoom, Adobe Connect or Cisco WebEx.Advanced proficiency in Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.) and video platforms.Education/Experience:A minimum 3 years Escrow/Closing experience.Working knowledge of adult learning theory and prior work experience in adult education, instructional design or eLearning is preferred.Prior experience in real estate sales or management is strongly preferred."This position can be performed anywhere except Colorado".#LI-DM1#Partial Remote About UsWest Coast Escrow is Southern California's largest independently licensed escrow company having offices in Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange and San Diego Counties.
