Our ideal partner will have a strong foundation in US GAAP and experience in implementing financial close processes/procedures (including internal controls). Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this is a crucial role on a small team that will implement and drive operational excellence in executing our monthly close and consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, while having responsibility for a diverse range of accounting, finance, and compliance duties. This role is REMOTE friendly and can be located anywhere in the U.S.!

What You'll Do

  • Implement and manage the month-end close process, including reviewing of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various business partners to obtain required financial reporting information and develop improvements to the financial reporting process
  • Plan and design business processes in order to improve and support scalability in the team organization, business systems, and activities
  • Implement and manage monthly financial fluctuation analysis
  • Preparation for US GAAP consolidated financial statements (including department allocations and intercompany eliminations) on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Optimize use of NetSuite and other reporting tools in preparing trial balance account analysis and consolidated financial reporting
  • Develop and mentor accounting staff to build their professional career and maximize potential.
  • Implement and manage quality control procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational innovation
  • About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate accounting
