**Description**The Senior Scrum Master for Data Use Protection Engineering Innovation coordinates an agile development team, ensures all activities use the principles of the Scrum Framework. The Senior Scrum Master's work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Data Use and Protection Engineering represents the intersection of cybersecurity, data analytics, software engineering, legal, risk, and compliance.**Responsibilities****What You'll Do**You will lead development teams through work actions that can be completed within time-boxed iterations called sprints and tracks progress through 15-minute stand-up meetings. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.You will lead a team to develop principled data 'Privacy by design' solutions based on guidance, operational processes, and infrastructure and automation tools that enable product and engineering teams to embed our data protection principles from the outset to meet growing compliance and user trust demands, without compromising speed and innovation.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Leading development teams through a complex development solutions+ Leading all SAFE agile ceremonies+ Effectively remove roadblocks for the development team to achieve delivery+ Support implementation of process improvements to develop a high performance development team+ Protecting the team from scope increase during sprints+ Ensuring focus on committed to stories when competing priorities arise+ Facilitating productive conversation that arrive at high value delivery+ Proactively participating in pre-planning and planning sessions**Required Qualifications**+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent expereince+ 2 or more years of agile team leadership experience+ 4 or more years' agile experience in a combination of leading development teams through complex solutions+ Experience driving technology innovation in a highly matrixed organization+ Experience with the SDLC+ Excellent communication (written, presentation, and verbal) skills, leadership competencies, and high level of emotional intelligence+ Experience in working in multi-team environment+ Willingness to manage and work with multi-team environments that are highly diverse teams+ Enthusiasm and motivation essential; a confident change-agent+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences**Preferred Qualifications**+ Prior insurance operations background+ Technical documentation abilities+ Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodology+ Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools+ SAFE Product Owner, Scrum Master, or SAFE Program Consultant certification+ Previous experience planning and managing large projects+ Prior experience in the health solutions industry+ Working experience with IT teams**Scheduled Weekly Hours**40
