We are recruiting for an Information Management Specialist with SharePoint development and site management experience to work in support of a Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VA/VHA) program for integrated healthcare transformation. Qualified candidates will have experience supporting VA/VHA programs and hold VA Suitability/Public Trust level access. New hire must be available to start work in September 2021.

Location: This is a full remote opportunity from a U.S. based location.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provide a wide range of information systems task order activities for VHA integrated healthcare systems supporting SharePoint site and electronics records systems
  • Support design and control of system functions for input, delete, retrieve, manipulate, and correction to ensure accurate flow of information in databases and record systems (automated and electronic systems)
  • Develop and deliver a variety of reports for activities
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements include:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current security credentials - VA Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience providing information systems support including experience providing direct support for VHA integrated healthcare systems
  • Experience designing and producing reports via a wide variety of information management research tools, systems, and processes, with a focus on integrated health care
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint sites for internet and intranet
  • Experience with site collection activities and coordinating data collection, consolidation, and organization
  • Experience creating and supporting trouble ticket requests
  • Experience with Section 508 compliance
  • Experience with content and branding including creating content and pages for efficient click throughs to identify information on the site
  • Experience designing and producing reports
  • Experience using a variety of information systems research tools, systems, and processes to support daily tasks and activities
  • Experience working with one or more of the following VHA systems and files:
  • C​​​​​orporate Data Warehouse (CDW)
  • Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA)
  • VHA Support Service Center (VSSC)
  • VHA Reports and Measurement Portal (RAMP)
  • Patient Treatment File (PTF) (MedSAS)
  • Managerial Cost Accounting (MCA) System
  • Primary Care Management Module (PCMM)
  • The National Patient Care Database (NPCD)
  • Veterans Services Network Corporation
  • Mini Master File (VETSNET File)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with a blended team of government and contractor staff
  • Availability to start work in September 2021
