EWINGS is in search of Healthcare Provider Network Development Consultants/Contractors for a telecommute based network development effort. Our client is an up-and-coming health plan that is rapidly expanding into new markets with their innovative commercial plans.  

 
We are very excited to ramp up contracting efforts for this 2023 product. We are looking to add additional contractors to this network build for an October 4th start date. We will add additional contractors in January of 2022 as well.  

 

The ideal contractor resides in Pennsylvania and has recent local market experience. We will primarily contract with physicians, ancillaries, behavioral health, and facilities.

General Details:

  • 6+ month contract 

Recent experience in the Pennsylvania provider market is required and we strongly prefer contractors who reside in Pennsylvania. Please be prepared to detail your experience in this market. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize your contacts in the market and provided leads to evaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls 

  • Develop a provider network yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance, trend management, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners 

  • Establish and maintain relationships with providers ensuring the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties 

  • Maintain and update the appropriate databases and department tools with current information 

 
Key Competencies: 

  • Recent network contracting experience with local providers 

  • Demonstrable Microsoft SharePoint & Excel proficiency 

  • Excellent negotiation, oral, and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment
