This position is 100% remote and must work East Coast hours.

The Manager, Business Analytics role supports a therapeutic area & has significant analytical acumen, with a broad understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with industry data sources. They will be deeply familiar with at least one programming language commonly used in the analysis of large amounts of data (e.g. SAS, R, and Python). The role will have responsibility for preparing and analyzing data required for targeting and segmentation as well as preparing data for analysis by the AD or Senior AD Advanced Analytics.

The Manager works directly with the marketing teams and conducts critical analyses, integrating multiple data sources and providing an objective viewpoint and recommendations to stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the development of targeting and segmentation in line with marketing strategy for both personal and non-personal promotion. Work with internal customers to assure that analytical results are understood and used effectively.
  • Responsible for providing analytical support for the TA/brand for the development of their multi-channel HCP strategy. Regularly monitor and analyze brand performance across all channels and respond to ad hoc questions from the brand team. Interpret results and provide actionable insights to the brand team.
  • Prepare data for analysis by the AD and/or Senior AD Business Analytics. Work closely with the AD/Sr.AD to build and develop understanding of advanced analytics methodologies.
  • Work closely with and act as a liaison between MR/CI, forecasting and field analytics for assigned brands to ensure that relevant stakeholders receive holistic and integrated analyses.
  • Special projects as requested by the Executive Director A&I and/or US HPBU Leadership.
  • Ensures that corporate standards of excellence and compliance are upheld and performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (e.g. EEO, FDA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA, PhRMA, SCIP etc.) and Company policies and procedures. Immediately reports noted/observed violations to management. Demonstrates high ethical and professional standards at all times in order to main BIPI's excellent reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community.
Requirements\:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required plus a minimum four (4) years analytic experience with relevant data sources and analytical methodologies OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred and five plus (5+) years of Brand/Field progressive analytical experience within the Pharmaceutical industry plus a minimum of four (4) years analytical experience with relevant data sources and analytical methodologies.
  • Proficiency in the development, documentation and communication of analytical plans.
  • Proficiency in customer identification and segmentation that has influenced marketing and sales strategy.
  • Experience in understanding customer needs, incorporating in deliverable, and ensuring recommendations/results and implemented.
  • Experience in coordinating insights from disparate functions and sources, e.g., marketing research, forecasts, etc., into a comprehensive and insightful analysis and/or recommendation.
  • Proficiency in SAS and other data extraction and analytical tools such as SQL, etc., Experience with Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.

Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation\: This position offers a base salary typically between $104,100 and $130,100. There is opportunity to consider higher compensation above this range based on business need, candidate experience and or skills.
