BASIC FUNCTION: 
This position is responsible for the development, construction and ongoing maintenance of the proposal content library to ensure timely and accurate, targeted/specific knowledge and content for preparing proposals. Works to develop procedures around information sharing/communication within the Proposal Development Team and the Enterprise and for the general updating of the library on specific content. Proactively meets with Senior Level Subject Matter Expert staff to develop new content and enhance existing content to strategically position proposal writers to craft a story and key messages appropriate to the assigned Request for Proposal (RFP). Supports management and proposal team members in pre-proposal strategy development prior to and during RFP assignments to identify necessary resources needed and SMEs that need to support business needs and commit to deliverables. Supports management with writing, editing and proofing final RFP responses prior to release to the client/consultant to ensure strategic objectives have been met and key messages are clearly outlined. Also responsible for ensuring the content within the library is current and communicates a message consistent with the Corporations thinking, brand and writing style as well as create an artistic and progressive layout to ensure consistency in RFP responses for all proposal staff that not only meets the objectives of the RFP, but produces a professional appearance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
*Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, Communications, or *Journalism. 6 years of experience in business, technical writing or editing. 
*Clear and concise verbal and written communications skills. 
*Interpersonal skills. 
*Project management experience. 
*Ability to work in a team environment. 
*Ability to work independently. 
*Organizational skills. 
*Detail orientation skills. 
*Problem-solving skills. 
*Proficient PC skills.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
*Experience with proposal automation software or similar type of database management software. 
*Experience as a proposal writer or knowledge manager.
*Two years of experience in health care services with health care products.
