We have a fantastic opportunity for a IT Security Manager to join our IT department. This role is both a compliance-based role, with a focus on information security, and a hands-on technical role supporting the IT team in achieving best practice.

Your key responsibilities will be:
* You will be responsible for managing the ISMS and its implementation across the organisation - including changes and enhancements to support best practice, changes in certification requirements, and changes in the law
* Providing 2nd/3rd Line Support to the first line team.
* Assisting the support and infrastructure teams in configuring IT systems to meet security requirements
* You will be responsible for reviewing changes from a perspective of information security and advising the CAB on any changes in risk profile
* You will undertake DPIAs of Ventrica data and the data of its customers
What do I need?
Essential
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
* Must be able to communicate effectively during client presentations as well as one-on-one.
* Ability to convey complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience. Excellent English written and oral communications skills are a prerequisite.
* Proven track record in designing and architecting network infrastructure, server baselines, and organisational policies to support relevant accreditations such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials
* Ability to understand and communicate how one or more technical or organisational controls meet client requirements during infosec assessments
* Proven knowledge of firewall and router technologies.
* Solid understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model.
* Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
* Proven knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2 up to and including 2019 and Windows 10.
* Proven knowledge of Internet and Network technologies.
* Understanding of development processes and concepts, e.g. Agile.
* Provision and management of Azure environments
Desirable
* Experience designing network infrastructure, policies, and procedures to support PCI compliance
* Experience with the Manage Engine suite of products
* Experience in an infrastructure role
* Experience in supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning
* Experience with multi-territory data processing arrangements

This can be a remote position, however the successful candidate will be required to attend our offices for client meetings/audits
