We need people who are highly motivated, enjoy relationship building, creative, results driven, and up for a challenge!Your key responsibilities will include:Appraise and underwrite individual life applications to assess mortality risk within company guidelinesUnderwriting authority limit up to $7. 5MStrong relationship skills with distribution partners and key accountsAchieve strong service results: quality, productivity and cycle timeMentoring/development of less experienced underwritersQualifications include:Minimum of 6-10 years individual life underwriting experienceBachelor's degree required or equivalent work experiences/Bachelor's degree preferredProfessional designation preferred, or significant progress towardsAdvanced technical underwriting knowledge and risk assessmentStrong talent mindset with personal development, mentor or teachless experiencedunderwritersExcellent negotiating and decision-making skills, critical thinkingExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong collaboration skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with peers/team/Distribution partners*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.Salary range specific to Colorado: $92,600-125,400 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
