PURPOSE
This position supports an organization with enterprise-wide responsibilities for the development and support of applications.? The position is on the Omnichannel / Connected Customer development team.
Major Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and enhance CRM, Mobile and retail systems
  • Integrate applications using a wide range of frontend and backend technologies
  • Responsible for the full software development lifecycle of projects including design, development, unit testing, system testing and deployment
  • Integrate new products and solutions into existing environment for continuous improvement
  • Develop advanced SQL statements and procedural code on multiple database management systems (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle) supporting numerous end user devices; tasks include querying data, manipulating data, generating reports, and developing source code
  • Analyze data and solve business problems related to system capabilities
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
Position Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems helpful
  • Experience with Java/JEE Frameworks/Technologies (Spring, Hibernate, JMS, JPA, )
  • Experience with Java Application Server ( JBoss / Jetty / etc)
  • Front end and back end Web development HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX for front end
  • Experience with Integration/ETL Platforms (Data Stage, Talend)
  • Mobile / Web Javascript frameworks experience (angular, react, backbone and phone gap or equivalent a plus)
  • Experience writing efficient SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2)
  • Issue and project tracking (JIRA, MS Project)
  • Ability to convey technical specifications in a business-friendly manner
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and data analysis skills
  • Ability to grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks
MINIMUM?ELIGIBILITY?REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
  • 5+ years of MIS and retail systems experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
  • Proven problem-solving and team building skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and results driven
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve goals
  • Ability to mentor team members as needed
