Project APEX is defining the future of Dell Technologies – and the APEX Console is the central pane of glass for delivering all APEX offers to our customers. It’s a singular orchestration platform across the company for our customers to engage with Dell Technologies. You will become part of a global engineering team delivering management experiences and automation for the APEX Console that simplify day-to-day operating experiences and delight our customers. As part of the team you will develop features that deliver the experiences and outcomes to our customers. You will: Provide thought leadership to deliver customer interfaces for day-to-day operations experiences for APEX offerings from an industry-leading hybrid cloud platform Work with customers and product experts to deliver automation using industry standard automation frameworks and the APEX platform Partner with the SRE team to ensure automation capabilities are built to enable remote support of APEX offerings Lead the design and architecture of high quality, complex systems and software Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 10+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience Experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions using modern techniques such as CI-CD, Devops etc. Strong programming and scripting skills utilizing languages such as Python, Golang and IaaC automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform Experience with cloud platforms or platform as a service such as Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure, AWS Desirable Requirements Experience with REST APIs and messaging systems like MQTT, RabbitMQ, Kafka Experience in using languages like Java, with spring Framework for Java Experience with Web front-end development (Angular, HTML, Javascript, CSS, etc) High level understanding of systems modeling and product lifecycle Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Agility to adapt to technologies and processes quickly Ability to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs Here’s our story; now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
