The Technical Implementation Manager is responsible for overall technical product implementation and configuration of programs, product implementation project management, and relationship management for Solutran clients during the initial implementation process. The role requires a keen insight into Solutran product offerings, best practices, and calls for deep collaboration and partnership with business leadership across Client Services, Sales, Product, PMO, IT and other internal stakeholders. Our desire is for this position to play a critical role in Client Success. The position will help support and manage the technical end-to-end client onboarding process with complex enterprise organizations. Implementation projects will range in scope and complexity.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client implementations as a player/doer/coach, supporting all technical stages of client onboarding with a cross-departmental team, from solution design, set-up, UAT and successful client launch
  • Provide technical leadership for all client implementation activities for a complex healthcare client base, driving cross-functional delivery of services to customers
  • Partner with internal teams to estimate, document and manage product scope; identify and escalate changes in client requested scope for roadmap consideration and pricing
  • Foster and increase product knowledge sharing and learnings to enable consistent interaction with clients
  • Provide product leadership along with strategic and tactical guidance during the various phases of the technical implementation process to ensure all necessary tools, processes, procedures, and staff are in place to support a successful implementation and rollout
  • Be a thought leader within the organization for how best to implement new products/services within Solutran’s systems
  • Build a strong and cohesive cross-departmental team by providing product leadership to indirect reports through coaching, setting strategic direction and applying working knowledge of Solutran S3 products, systems, and procedures
  • Ensures that the Implementation team represents client needs to internal stakeholder organizations including Client Services, Sales, Product, IT, PMO, Risk and Legal through accurate business requirements and ongoing advocacy
  • Establish and foster relationships with Client and internal stakeholders at all levels of staff and senior management
  • Overall planning, directing and oversight responsibility of multiple product implementation projects requiring the utilization or management of resources across multiple departments or functional areas

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing complex client implementation projects
  • Project management experience managing large-scale client projects with multiple stakeholders, ideally in the healthcare or payments industry
  • Ability to participate in and manage technical configurations of multiple client implementation projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced client-centric environment
  • Demonstrated strategic ability to solve complex issues exercising critical thinking and sound judgment and to lead cross functional teams through complex product business issues that do not have precedent
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at senior and executive management level
  • Proven record of accomplishment in leading and driving teams to achieve and exceed established goals and objectives

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience in a project management or role in software or financial services
