We are seeking a seasoned Lawson professional to join NFP’s Lawson functional team. This individual will manage the team’s helpdesk processes for Lawson inquiries & issues and assist with ticket monitoring, research & resolution. They will also manage team leads for Lawson as well as Avid & Concur (platforms that generate general expense invoices & employee T&E reimbursements that interface into Lawson AP for payment). They will be working in a fast-paced team environment and will need to effectively multi-task and prioritize based on issue volume, importance and urgency. They will interact with all levels of our organization and must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. NFP will gladly consider applicants across the US to work remotely in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Lawson support lead & Avid/Concur lead
  • Own Lawson GL, AM, AP, CB, AR, & BL modules
  • Lawson configuration
  • Lawson query & upload template development
  • Lawson training efforts
  • Create or modify documentation for supported applications
  • Escalate issues to Infor Support
  • Patch assessment & testing
  • Lead upgrade efforts
  • SME on all projects & integrated apps discussions that include Lawson
  • Work with integrated teams to review and identify the best solution to avoid or minimize downstream impacts
  • Develop recommendations to improve processes both internally and customer-facing
  • Effectively communicate (written & oral) with all customers at all levels of the organization
  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years supporting Lawson’s financial applications
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Helpdesk experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Sound understanding of accounting & financial reporting
  • Concur, Avid & Cognos experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and follow-up
