Join Our Community of Food People!The Program Manager, Business Solutions is responsible for bringing a high degree of planning and program management to drive maximum impact for US Foods and for our Customers as well as defining what is required to deliver those results. Will support US Foods' Salesforce/SOUS product strategy planning and execution and related collaboration with key business, product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders. Will work with Salesforce/SOUS leadership and the broader Customer Strategy & Innovation leadership team to ensure US Foods' short- and long-term goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with plans and budgets, with a broader perspective in mind. The right candidate will bring a proven track-record managing large-scale transformation programs and the ability to earn trust and work effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrate a proven track record of discovering and applying insights toward creating new mechanisms that help build and scale the program, and will always "roll up the sleeves" to get things done.• This role requires partnership with program executive sponsors & stakeholders, creation and management of comprehensive program plans, supervision of work streams, and communication on key decisions and risks including ownership of product governance forums and activities• Collaborate with Salesforce/SOUS Product Owner, business, architecture, and engineering teams as needed throughout the full product lifecycle management from strategic planning to tactical activities to drive collection of requirements for current and future products, ideation, technical development, and launch of new Salesforce products/features• Help define program strategies and roadmap, organize workstreams and milestones, and generate buy-in• Develop a deep technical understanding of Salesforce/SOUS• Lead ongoing analysis and insights of business performance to support stakeholder decision-making• Ensure that business-specific technical issues become part of the product backlog for consideration in future releases• Ensure appropriate stakeholders are regularly consulted and/or informed as to product roadmap and backlog prioritization and resulting deployment outcomes• Collaborate with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams to identify technical transformation activities and development engineering roadmap• Identify and help drive process improvements to mitigate current and potential program risks• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs• Act as US Foods expert on solution delivery related activities through regular and impromptu communications to relevant partners and leadership• Develop rapport with the Customer Strategy & Innovation teams to understand initiative and solution specific considerations and integration points• Support integration of overlapping employee and customer-facing technology solutions deployment experiences within the Customer Strategy & Innovation portfolio• Other duties as assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training:Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing / Finance / Operations or related field requiredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is desiredAgile Scrum Master certification OR Certified Scrum Product Owner is desiredRelated Experience/Requirements:5+ years demonstrated successful experience in complex technology deployment, preferably with Salesforce or similar CRM solution3+ years demonstrated successful experience in agile product management or related roles3+ years demonstrated successful experience in food distribution, retail, CPG, or related industriesKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of forward-looking vision, clear judgment in managing risk, and ability to drive deliverables while maintaining flexibility in an agile environmentComplex program and/or project managementProven success in creatively solving problems and refining processes and procedures to create additional program scaleExperience working in Matrix environment with multiple stakeholdersOrganizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-orientedAdaptability and/or ability to manage change and continuously learn.Comfortable facilitating and leading conversations with large groups, including an ability to communicate and collaborate across business, product, architecture, and engineering teamsExperience in communicating highly technical concepts and tying to customer value and business visionStrong ability to influential cross-functional environment to bring teams along on technical transformation journeyAbility to obtain technical understanding of full solution stack as well as integration pointsAvailable for occasional travel as business requires (less than 10% of time)This position has been segmented as blended meaning the work is a combination of onsite in Rosemont, Illinois and remote/virtual as defined by the role segmentation.***EOE Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Protected Veteran/Disability Status***
