Paid Search Specialist - Remote
My client is currently looking to bring on board a Paid Search Specialist to join their growing Marketing team. This role will be supporting the Head of Digital Marketing and working within the education sector. The role is based remotely currently and then post covid it will be one day in the office based in Gloucestershire.
My client is currently looking for a Paid Search Executive to join their growing marketing department based remotely with occasional office travel to Gloucestershire.
The overall purpose of job:
You will work with the Head of Digital Marketing to deliver quality paid marketing campaigns that appeal to a mix of B2B and B2C within the education sector. You will create and optimise paid search campaigns to achieve lead generation targets. You will be working with relevant team(s) to ensure accurate tracking and measurement of key metrics and the regular analysis of data to ensure campaigns are continually optimised.
Principle responsibilities:
● Work with the Head of Digital Marketing to run profitable paid search campaigns in Google and Microsoft Ads.
● Manage day-to-day optimisation, including keywords research, preparing negative keywords list, utilising appropriate keyword match types and ad extensions, building new campaigns and ad groups, writing ad copies, running AB tests and bid management.
● Run retargeting campaigns to get website visitors to return and convert. Identify URLs and events that should trigger retargeting ads.
● Optimise campaigns to achieve the target number of conversions and cost per lead.
● Work with relevant team members to ensure paid search fits into the broader digital marketing mix, including SEO, Social and Automation.
● Utilise tools including Google Analytics, SEMRush and BI tools to track the effectiveness of campaigns.
● Develop an understanding of Google scripts and implement them.
● Stay up-to-date with google ads roll-outs and adapt them where necessary to maintain/improve the performance
Salary: £35,000 base
Includes home working with occasional office travel when required
