Role

Do you want to create, amplify, and operationalize messaging for one of the world’s most successful technology companies?

Splunk is seeking a B2B messaging expert interested in joining a high-impact, high-visibility team. This person will help us continuously evolve and operationalize Splunk’s core messaging. In this role you will work closely with our subject matter experts to translate Splunk’s value into compelling messaging and content. Your role will be varied, cross-functional and highly impactful. One day you will work with Brand & Creative to craft awareness campaigns, on another you may be developing the internal rollout plan for our corporate pitch, while still another day you may be driving a keynote for a large conference. As such, you must enjoy fast-paced environments where ownership, creativity, and challenging the status quo are all expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Operationalize Splunk’s evolving corporate messaging through our website and corporate pitch, working with subject matter experts and Splunk’s executive team.
  • Play a significant role in shaping and coordinating keynote presentations at our annual conference and other major events.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our Brand & Creative team on awareness campaigns and media strategy.
  • Collaborate with external partners to test and validate new messaging.
  • Create frameworks and other internal enablement to ensure a compelling and consistent message in all content, building scalable materials and training that can be adopted throughout the company.
  • Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience; B2B SaaS marketing with a focus on solutions or product marketing, or creative agency working with B2B clients, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple audiences and methods.
  • A strong senior presence; critical thinker; confident and assertive.
  • A proven track record collaborating across matrixed organizations to get results.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and complexity and driving to a finished product.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives to create messaging/presentations.
  • Experience conducting research through research partners, e.g focus groups, brand awareness, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree required
