This team covers functional areas of Install, Upgrade of the Trident PowerStore as well as release of product to MFG. The team play a critical role of internal development activity to support install process for the Dev, SysQA and release build teams. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.​ Key Responsibilities Contributes to the development, test and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teams Investigate complex system problems - triage issues, determine root cause, and produce fixes Work collaboratively with members on the team and the larger organization - communicate technical details and status Delve deep into technical issues to make sure the solution is the right one from a customer POV, participate in team scrums, design, code reviews As a senior member on the team, the best fit would be a curious self-starter that strives to understand the system as a whole by working hands-on with the system. reading the code and asking the right questions ​Essential Requirements : BS or MS in Computer Science or a related discipline 4+ years software development experience Strong written & verbal communication skills Strong knowledge BASH/shell, Perl and Python Strong linux fundamentals and administration skills Experience with Linux build and packaging Triage and debugging with ability to write/Enhance tools to assist with debugging Comfortable working hands on with Hardware in a lab environment.
