This role will be responsible for leading an operating unit/user groups through a new salesforce.com implementation of moderate to advanced complexity, including rolling out new sales capabilities (including account management, pipeline management, contact management, Tableau CRM, and quoting capabilities) and overseeing a migration of users from an existing Salesforce instance. We are looking for an experienced saleforce.com individual who will champion Salesforce through requirements, development, design & implementation phases with their assigned user group and help identify ongoing new applications and uses of the tool to improve collaboration, sales process standardization, consolidating sales tools, delivering information for business decisions and improving day to day activities of the users. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Business Requirements Own & oversee business requirements for assigned program, user groups & associated capability development workstream Identify use case & pain points in support of requirements/capabilities Lead requirements collection, prioritization & scoping efforts for assigned programs & workstreams Intake user needs and enhancement requests for user group(s) and bring forth requests for evaluation/review/t-shirt sizing and assignment Solution Design/Development/Testing Partner with SFDC admins during solution design, development & testing phases, serving as key decision-maker on behalf of program & user groups Oversee design/development to ensure that output meets business requirements Partner with Neuroscience Platform Manager to ensure that capabilities align to commercial & platform standards for other Neuroscience operating units Coordinate with project team members to develop & oversee test plan Project management Oversee project plan, communication & timelines on behalf of business stakeholders Partner with IT Project Manager, Business Stakeholders, and internal project team members to develop overall project timeline Ensure projects move forward according to the plan and address issues in timely manner Manage project budget Communication & Training Plans/Execution Lead training and communication for supported business groups - adhering to any platform training guidelines or requirements Develop and execute communication and training plans for new functionality launches and ongoing enhancements / refresher trainings Adoption Proactively develop strategies, materials, and programs to drive adoption and use among user groups / operating unit Partner with Neuroscience Platform Manager to ensure adoption & success metrics are aligned to platform standards Manage and Monitor adoption among user groups or functionality sets Work with business leadership and stakeholders for assigned user groups or functionality, and coach on utilization of SFDC Support Partner with Neuroscience Platform Manager to develop/execute support plans for assigned business groups Own and monitor resolution of support/break fix issues related to assigned user groups, working closely with SFDC admins Monitor support issues and proactively identify strategies to resolve if ongoing issues - training, communications, system fixes, etc. Align communication of support status for user groups with Neuroscience Platform Manager Other duties may be assigned Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required Minimum of 5 years of relevant salesforce.com (SFDC) experience, or Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant salesforce.com (SFDC) experience Nice to Have Broad multi-functional business experience along with 3+ years of project management experience Experience in leading salesforce.com projects, including gathering business requirements and leading change efforts Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, most notably Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint. Demonstrated proven leadership skills Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbally Comfortable leading and facilitating groups, most notably during change efforts Skilled in influencing and partnering with others, both inside and outside Skillful in formulating strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve results Strong focus on developing an organizational culture that fosters teamwork Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to effectively influence key decision makers Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude About MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
