Our client is seeking a Paid Media Analyst  to support the media team on a fully remote and contractual basis . Specific channels under management may include display (programmatic + direct buys), digital video, native ads, content syndication, social, and print. This person will collaborate with internal program strategy owners, external media agencies & media partners to gather campaign requirements, support marketing briefs, launch campaigns, and monitor results. The ideal candidate will be to project manage campaign deliverables, most notably ad creative & tracking parameters. Candidates local to the New England area (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont) NY, and NJ are encouraged to apply. 
 

Paid Media Analyst Responsibilities: 

  • Support the media team with day-to-day management of campaign status, optimizations, and execution
  • Coordinate with external media agency teams who activate paid advertising
  • Take a frontline role in receiving, tracking, and accurately deploying ad creative assets
  • Coordinate with Marketing Operations, Program Owners, and agency partners to ensure campaigns are accurately tagged and flowing through to media platforms, i.e. the marketing automation platform (Marketo), and the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Assist in the creation of regular, timely, and insightful reporting for internal marketing stakeholders—especially as it relates to creative version in market, testing, and performance recaps by creative concept and ad format
  • Ensure that paid media vehicles are effectively meeting planned marketing KPIs
  • Take an ownership role in documenting all tests in market and passing data to the Marketing Analytics team for review
  • Work closely with internal and external creative teams to pass on the specifications for best-in-class advertising creative

  • Paid Media Analyst Requirements:
  • Knowledge of or basic experience using the advertising platforms of Google/YouTube, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, The Trade Desk, MediaMath, Google DV 360, etc.
  • An awareness of how digital marketing is tracked and the metrics available
  • Experience analyzing data in spreadsheets such as Excel and/or other business intelligence platforms such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Quicksights, or Dataorama
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, economics, finance, mathematics, or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of marketing experience with digital marketing preferred, either in a full time or internship capacity
  • Experience working with or at a media agency ideal
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing a plus
