DataRAP Technical Product Owner role reports to the Director of Product Engineering and is responsible for designing and developing new features and capabilities for our CDO's and business units. The role is responsible for working with our business partners on product requirements that are essential for our development teams. The successful candidate will have the ability to comfortably communicate with various teams and partners and will be at ease in every phase of product development. They will also be able to organize and lead a diverse group of stakeholders in order to design, solution and execute on product initiatives. They will collect feedback from customers and prospective customers in order to recommend product improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams like engineering, implementation, operations, and support to identify ways to make our product better
  • Support our business with gathering and elaborate requirements and design for various product features and enhancements in form of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Develops and/or assists with communications, including supporting release notes, training material, and support materials
  • Presents product demos to business partners and other stakeholders
  • Supports cross functional teams with new and existing features to identify and solve issues and problems
  • Act as "Voice of Product Engineering" and develop a deep understanding of the DataRAP product
  • Measure, and analyze product features and ways to improve, developing action plans in coordination with stakeholders
  • Work with multiple groups that require problem-solving, relationship building, and influencing
  • Groom, manage and prioritize backlog to fulfill most pressing needs on priority while keeping an eye on the upcoming work
  • Analyze industry trends and ideas and bring recommendations to the product leadership to build a clear vision for opportunity in product features or operations
  • Research, evaluate and prioritize requests coming in from various teams.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle strategy with clear goals, initiatives, and road maps
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with various stakeholders including but not limited to engineering and operations

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in a related field
  • Experience with Healthcare systems
  • Knowledge of Clinical and Billing functions.
  • Comfortable with EDI standards, data vocabularies, clearinghouse functions
  • Experienced with integration standards HL7, FHIR, and APIs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner
  • Quick learner, ready to take initiative, problem
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal handholding and able to effectively manage resources to meet deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of business and customer requirements and the ability to translate them into features and requirements
  • Team player and leader, Organized, strong management skills, and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions
