We are recruiting for a Communications Manager for a long-term contract position with a Life Sciences company who is a worldwide leader in the healthcare and agriculture industry. The position is 100% remote until the Company returns to the office which will not be until after 1/1/2022.
Job Description: The Communications Manager is a member of the Strategic Communications & Engagements team responsible for driving change and building confidence among internal stakeholders by proactively sharing the Company's achievements, highlighting its plans, and demonstrating the Company's continued commitment to innovation, sustainability and digital transformation.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
* Works closely with the Head of Strategic Communications and Transformation office to lead and support Transform2Win (T2W) communications efforts
* Coordinates across Divisions and enabling functions to align on Transformation activities and provide support for strategic communications planning and execution.
* Meet regularly with Transformation PMO, IR, HR and Strategy to keep abreast of core priorities and developments and share communications updates
* Responsible for change communications to evolve company culture and drive employee engagement
* Support the development of briefing materials, content, including presentations, multi-media, scripts, key messages, executive briefings, and other related collateral. This requires project management and collaborating with multiple groups inside the company and external agencies.
* The role will work with colleagues at all levels of the company to find and highlight relevant T2W content and proof points.
* The person in this position will also provide project management, communications support and event coordination for internal and external events.
* Partners with team members to support content for the ILC meeting, ILC Workshop, ILC calls and Global Town Halls.
* Will provide support for ELT and leadership team members as needed for ILC events, T2W employee sessions, Ask Us Anything events, etc.
* Manage team meeting agendas and logistics as needed
* Works as a team player supporting other projects as needed to advance the common objectives of the Strategic Communications team.
* Bachelors degree in journalism, communications or related field.
* Experience with public relations agency or corporate experience and/or a journalism background preferred.
* Excellent communications experience with strong writing skills and power point slide development require, as is the ability to manage several projects. 5+ years' of relevant experience in communications or related marketing fields required.
