Develops solutions based on extensive technical knowledge, skills, and experience; influences client towards innovative/integrated solutions. n n n Responsibilities: n n n n Analysis and Requirements gathering n n n Gather complex system requirements by meeting with clients and researching existing technology to understand the business requirements and possible solutions for new applications n n n Design and Development n n n Develop/change data input, files/database structures, data transformation, algorithms, and data output by using appropriate computer language/tools to provide technical solutions for complex application development tasks n n n Document code and associated processes by adhering to development methodologies, adding code comments and appropriate documentation to the various knowledge-base system(s) to simplify code maintenance and to improve support n n n Provide thought leadership in designing and developing innovative integrated solutions n n n Provide guidance in application design and development to more junior staff n n n Testing and Documentation n n n Test all changes by using the appropriate complex test scenarios to ensure all delivered solutions work as expected and errors are handling in a meaningful way n n n Author and maintain documentation by writing audience-appropriate materials to serve as technical and/or end-user references n n n Implementation and Maintenance n n n Implement changes by adhering to the change management policies and procedures for any given project to communicate to all parties the nature, significance, and risk factors of the solution n n n Monitor changes and resolve complex problems by responding as they occur, by reviewing all processing and output of the newly implemented solution, and by proactively ensuring the solution works successfully in order to satisfy the customer requirements and to provide a smooth transition to the new solution n n n Provide support by investigating and resolving issues, including complex issues to ensure prompt, effective service n n n n n n n n n n n What we are looking for: n n n n n n n n n n 5+ years of web applications design and delivery for the public cross-culture audience n n n Expert knowledge of WordPress themes, plugin configuration, custom plugin development, security. n n n Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive design n n Good knowledge of Highcharts and D3 n n Expert knowledge of front-end development in websites and web applications n n n Strong experience in converting comprehensive layouts and wireframes in working HTML pages n n n Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers n n n Expert knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) n n n Expert knowledge of PHP and MySQL n n n Working knowledge of Docker containers n n n Demonstrable experience with UI and UX principles, concepts, and techniques n n n Demonstrable success on WordPress projects as a technical lead or senior individual contributor n n n Advanced level in English required.
