Senior Android Developer/Engineer | Tech Start-Up | NYC based | Remote

If yes, my client, a fast-growing tech startup with offices in both New York City and San Francisco are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to be part of their growth in the USA.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with UX designers, design program managers and other engineers to implement scalable front-end solutions
• Explore new experiences and develop patterns that improve on the news.
• Advise, collaborate with, and synthesize feedback from UX designers, engineers, and researchers.
• Develop efficient, easy to use and inspired interaction patterns
• Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ideally have multiple programming languages - Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin
• Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs)
• Experience in high-fidelity prototyping
• Highly collaborative leader with a natural ability to influence and build alignments
• A deep and abiding passion for design and great user experiences
• Hands-on coding experience that delivers scalable and fault-tolerant mobile components with clear testing strategies in mind

The ideal developer will have worked in a fast-paced, agile environment with a keen interest in engaging with changing the world by displaying only real news.

My client is conducting interviews and onboarding fully remotely. This role is based out of New York City or San Francisco with EST/PST hours and it is fully remote as long as living in the USA.
