Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies and lead and implement consumer insight-led initiatives that help members maximize their plan benefits to deliver against Net Promoter Score goals, drive plan understanding, as well as a more simplified and personalized member experience
  • Translate business goals into marketing objectives and strategies that facilitate business growth by leveraging insights from data and setting clear metrics for success
  • Lead high priority enterprise-wide initiatives, collaborating across the organization, setting clear direction and influencing senior management
  • Lead strategy and ongoing development/optimization of highly visible member resources such as the Personalized Onboarding video as well as key B2B2C resources such as the Employee Engagement Planner
  • Develop strategy, campaigns and ongoing initiatives that deliver against myuhc.com (member portal) registration and paperless adoption business goals
  • Orchestrate multi-media marketing campaigns that include digital, social, mobile, print, direct mail, etc. across enterprise-wide teams and external agencies to drive digital adoption and myuhc.com member portal registration. Work closely with data and analytics teams and media partners to develop marketing test plans with clear business objectives and measurable results
  • Consider end-to-end member experience in developing communications and identify gaps, working with stakeholders to solve
  • Work closely with data and analytics teams and media partners to develop targeted marketing tactics, test plans with clear business objectives and measurable results
  • Route & track campaign materials through legal and key stakeholder approvals
  • Create campaign communication strategy that drives consistency across touch points and meets health literacy guidelines
  • Oversee and manage marketing budget to deliver against digital adoption and engagement goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business
  • 8+ years of strategic marketing leadership
  • 8+ years of B2C marketing experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver results on complex initiatives
  • Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Proven success in the development of strategic marketing plans tied to business goals and execution of innovative integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proven analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing
  • Digital experience optimization and database marketing to reach targeted segments
  • Health care industry experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence across levels in an entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to develop and communicate a point of view, influence without authority, and balance multiple priorities
