In this position, you'll use and create visual assets such as backgrounds, embellishments, fonts, and photography to concept designs for our diverse range of products including cards, photo books, calendars, canvases, home decor, and more. You'll need to keep the pulse of modern design trends, be detail-minded and produce high-quality, well-organized design files. Responsibilities: Create designs for all Snapfish products using fonts, artwork assets, backgrounds, layouts, and stock photography.Use and help to create Snapfish visual assets -toolkits, style guides, photography andfonts - to develop strong designs and typography for site, email, mobile, and print projectsManage all steps in the design process and work with stakeholders to get approvals and meet deadlinesFollow established naming conventions and organize/upload files on Dropbox server to share links with all regionsStay current with latest software updates (Adobe CS)Keep the pulse of modern design trends with competitive analysisFollow all specs, locate and archive assets, and gather photography independentlyDemonstrate strong work ethic, work collaboratively, and apply design feedback with a positive attitude (Ideal Team Player) Desired Skills/Experience:Positive attitude, great listener, and communicator with a creative sparkDigital portfolio required; must have prior range of design experience in website, and mobile with a good understanding of printSkills working with photos on personalized products such as photo books, calendars,wall decor (posters, canvas, panels), and photo gifts (mugs, etc.) or related type of experienceExpert use of smart objects and building complex layers and file construction inPhotoshopHigh-level design skills that reinforce the Snapfish brand and reach target audienceHigh-level typography skillsPhoto curation skills to create story lines for customized productsDeep experience with photo layout design (portfolio must reflect this experience)Experience implementing designs under fast-paced deadlinesAwareness of current trends, industry competitors, and design stylesResourcefulness and ability to locate and share assets independentlyAbility to self-manage projects and timelinesAbility to work collaboratively and incorporate actionable feedback from key stakeholders with a great, responsive attitude.Great written and verbal communication skillsFluency in Adobe Creative Suite software a must and experience using project management tools (JIRA, Workfront, etc.)Knowledge of capabilities of Snapfish online builder tools (this can be learned on the job)Education: 4-year design degree is preferred but not required if portfolio reflects the type of high-level design we are looking for5-10 years' experience as a Graphic Designer requiredPassion, Integrity, and Energy!Please also be familiar with our products by visiting our website at snapfish.com
