The Solution architect will be responsible for creating best practices and framework to deliver scalable data platform. This role requires a combination of hands of engineering as well Architecture experience. Beckman Coulter's DxONE Insights Analytics is cloud-based software that provides actionable insights using aggregated data from connected instrumentation. It seamlessly aggregates data from multiple sources to identify patterns in clinical laboratory operations and reduce inefficiencies.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Ensure data platform is Stable, Scalable and meets Performance requirementsEnsure data privacy and security requirements are met for regional deploymentHelp define Analytics roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs, considering architectural issues and tradeoffsPerform technical feasibility studies of new technologies and architectures, including evaluation of commercial tools and components.Guide the product owners and software developers for the software application and data platform to architect and design the solution.The essential requirements of this role include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related field along with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Software Design and Development of Enterprise application software with 3+ years on big data architecture and enterprise scale applicationExtensive experience working in AWS environmentExposure to Hadoop and Big Data technologiesExperience in MSSQL, PL-SQL, MySQL and PythonDeep understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP databases, NoSQL storage, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard developmentLeadership ExperienceAbility to work with multi-functional and remote teamsExperience with Agile Scrum based Software Development.Good understanding and desire to work in DevSecOpsAbility to conduct code reviews and provide feedback to the engineers.Preferred Experience in healthcare domainBeckman Coulter offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to associates' and their families' lives.
