This full time, permanent first shift Metal Manufacturing Process Engineer opportunity is at a construction, agriculture, and automotive component manufacturer that is expected to have annual sales growth of 33%. The career path could lead to a Quality Engineering Manager, Production Manager, or getting more involved in supplier quality. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Evaluating, designing and improving the manufacturing process
  • Creating best practices
  • Overseeing the manufacturing process improvement implementation and operation
  • Being responsible for reducing costs, maintaining efficiency and improving profitability
  • Maximizing the production process
  • Evaluating costs, time and risks
  • The background of the successful candidate should include the following:
  • A four year Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree 
  • Four or more years of manufacturing process improvement experience
  • Two or more years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment
  • Four or more years of experience evaluating, designing and improving the manufacturing process
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
