Vice President of Business Development Opportunity Description

Our client is a growing multi-site, multi-state Hospice Care provider and they have a need for a VP of Business Development. Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States! Travel will be required throughout the existing and future footprint so easy access to an airport is essential. Hospice, or related home based care, Business Development experience is required. We are looking for a polished, hands-on leader who can build new relationships and maintain established business.

Vice President of Business Development Job Requirements

  • Hospice Business Development and census building experience at the multi-site, multi-state level.
  • Track record of success growing established/existing business.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Vice President of Business Development Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all efforts to expand existing census numbers and operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Hire, develop, and hold accountable members of the sales team. Lead team of Regional Managers.
  • Develop relationships with key leaders in the industry and negotiate deals.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior leadership.
  • The compensation scale listed is a general salary range and is not intended to represent the actual annual or hourly compensation rate for this role. An offer will be made to the selected candidate at the conclusion of the interview process based on their relevant experience and the responsibilities of the position. Our client does offer a competitive compensation package potentially including incentives, health and dental insurance, PTO, retirement plans (401K) and opportunities for professional development.
