Position: 100% Remote Financial Systems Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:
In this role, you'll have varying responsibilities such as being an analyst for Accounting/Finance systems & software, assisting with configurations, system upgrades, and making recommendations. You'll also have a hand in improving the data analytics and reporting function of the organization, assisting with SQL and BI reporting. You'll act as a business analyst and liaison between various departments and systems. Involvement with project management, implementations and providing informal leadership.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Strong background in either Accounting/Finance or IT/Systems but must be systems and tech savvy.
- Advanced-to-expert Microsoft Excel skills (modifying existing workbooks, pivot tables, v-looks up, etc.)
- Ability to learn and work with multiple systems within the organization.
- Act as a liaison between business processes and software systems
- Ability to give insight and recommendations on accounting/financial systems, and processes.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and research skills.
- Comfortable working with and/or managing external vendors.
- Helping with informal leadership, mentoring peers, etc. (no direct reports)
- Comfortable with improving processes & procedures.
- Ability to meet deadlines, update others on timelines, etc.
- Outside-the-box thinker and willing to find creative solutions to challenging problems.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and comfortable working remotely.
BONUS EXPERIENCE:
- Experience directly working with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or other accounting information systems (Oracle, JDEdwards, SAP, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Bullhorn or other staffing specific software platforms.
- Accounting/Finance knowledge (chart of accounts structure, posting configurations, subledger entities, etc.)
- Reporting experience with tools such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, SSRS Reporting, etc.
- Experience working with databases such as Access or SQL Server database (queries, joins, etc.)
