Job Description:

We are a mid-size company with a unique industry-disrupting earned media offering therefore we are looking for someone that is able to bring new ideas to the table and help us in our path to growth.

We're seeking a qualified a new business development specialist to join our friendly and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, and proven sales record in bringing in new business. In a quick-moving environment like ours, it's important to have a little fun, especially with the people you'll spend 40 hours a week with. We pride ourselves on having a "work hard, play hard" culture where the team will support each other from completing successful projects to games during team gatherings (virtually, of course).

Requirements

  • Prospecting and developing new business opportunities
  • Book calls, consultations, and meetings with potential new clients to identify their needs.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify trends and client needs, building a sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • Work with a Relationship Manager to close on new business deals
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends for prospecting needs
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Meet and exceed monthly KPIs
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or one year experience in a Business Development Role
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience with sales relationship managers
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Ability to pitch complex ideas over the phone
  • Ability to deliver presentations
