Primary Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously lead business process improvement initiatives and be self-motivated to complete initiatives thoroughly and timely
  • Analyze current business processes across designated areas of responsibility for cycle time, volume, quality, satisfaction, and cost
  • Maintain the current-state business process documentation and develop target future-state process models. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to address process modeling related questions
  • Develop tools, templates and procedural documents, including process maps, and working documents to support the business processes (if/when requested)
  • Monitor and measure the realization of the benefits post process improvement implementation to ensure acceptance
  • Provide input to training and change management activities for business processes as needed

    Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project work or on a project team or similar experience including process analysis, Business Analysis, supporting system enhancement projects, workflow efficiency/process improvements
  • 3+ years of experience with project management and change management or the ability to quickly master the foundations of each
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
  • 2+ years of experience in Life/Disability/Supplemental Health or Dental/Vision Industry
  • Experience developing and presenting within PowerPoint
  • Partner and collaborate with other functional areas within the organization
  • Proficiency in tracking, trending, and reporting on metrics
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Underwriting experience
  • Experience working on a project in an Agile environment
  • Experience supporting IT projects, including developing requirements, writing user stories and testing
  • Proven Collaborative, analytical and organizational skills
  • Analytical thinker with solid problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Solid communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates a positive, professional, and cooperative attitude
  • Forward thinking

    Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
