Founded in 2004, RedSeal is headquartered in San Jose, California. RedSeal is looking for a talented communications professional to lead our global public relations and social media programs. As our Manager of Public Relations and Social Media, you'll team with our external agencies and internal marketing team to build and execute PR and social media strategies that bring RedSeal's corporate plans to life. With your passion for storytelling, understanding of the B2B space, and holistic view of communications, you'll help position RedSeal and our executives as thought leaders through a consistent drumbeat of tailored communications to a variety of audiences, including analysts, channel partners, media and social influencers. Public relations + Help develop thought leadership programs and content that position RedSeal and its leaders as industry or subject experts, driving brand awareness and consideration. + Build a diverse and modern media mix, including earned media coverage, contributed content, influencer marketing, press releases/blogs and more to drive a consistent surround sound of RedSeal's key messages in the market. + Build and manage PR plans that support RedSeal's product launches and strategic campaigns. + Drive relationships with RedSeal's global PR agencies to ensure alignment of strategy and messaging, along with effective use of resources and budget. Social media + Develop strategic plans to leverage social media and influencers to support and elevate RedSeal's positioning. + Guide the transition of RedSeal's social program from an amplification tool to a central content marketing channel by seeking new ways/channels to engage with RedSeal's core audiences. + Drive social initiatives that maximize engagement from RedSeal's employees and channel partners. General + Create and oversee annual, quarterly and project-based media plans that establish clear objectives, a consistent cadence and creative ways of connecting with core audiences. + Help develop targeted audiences, messaging, content and project plans as related to media and social for key corporate initiatives and events, working to ensure consistent tone, positioning and cross-functional alignment. + Develop ways to promote RedSeal's media and social coverage to effectively amplify exposure. + Build reporting practices around KPIs, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and sharing insights with stakeholders. Requirements + Minimum 5 years' experience in public relations or related field. + Bachelor's degree in Communications or related discipline. + Previous technology industry experience required; SaaS or telecom industry is preferred. + Excellent understanding of modern PR and social media strategies along with demonstrated success implementing these techniques. + Proven experience working with executive spokespeople. + Excellent writing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail. + Practical experience developing and implementing social media strategies for a B2B environment. + Skilled project manager with a proven ability to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest quality. + Ability to effectively manage pressures of a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. + Proactive, collaborative approach to building internal and external relationships.
