Remote Full Stack Developer Software Engineer Role
Help develop and support scalable enterprise software platforms that bring value to consumers across the utility space while also helping ensure the safety and health of the general population
Provide ongoing development and L3 support activities for existing software while also being able to influence new product development
Assist with optimizing system performance, improving test automation coverage, and improving system usability
Work with offshore development groups to provide guidance related to ongoing development activities
Developing front-end website architecture
Designing user interactions on web pages.
Developing back-end website applications
Creating servers and databases for functionality
Designing and developing APIs
Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones
Ensuring responsiveness of applications
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
Meeting both technical and consumer needs
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming
languages

Remote Full Stack Developer Software Engineer Background Profile:
Bachelor' s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
3 years of relatable experience
Must be able to travel to Houston once a quarter
Experience working in an Agile development environment with CI/CD processes
Experience developing and implementing complex software solutions 
Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise-level software platforms handling large numbers of concurrent users and large volumes of data
Familiarity with the common front end, back end, and mobile development stacks 
Experience analyzing and optimizing system performance
Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
Thorough understanding of user experience
Experience using GIS platforms and APIs, specifically experience with ESRI ArcGIS is preferred, or others such as Google Earth, QGIS
Experience with developing and implementing open-source machine learning or AI algorithms is a plus
Proficiency with database design, database administration, and MS Office applications
Must be highly motivated, customer-focused, and work well in a team environment, and able to perform tasks without a lot of oversight
