Position Summary

Essential Functions & Qualifications

The Microsoft Power Apps Developer will be part of the Application Development team. We build Process Automation applications that deliver several thousand tasks a day to help insure our Claims Examiners are able to deliver the industry leading experience that our claimants have come to expect.

As a Power Platform Developer, you must translate business requirements into technical requirements; prepare documentations/diagrams to explain the changes so that both technical staff and executive management can understand what must be done, map out of interdependencies and data flow between applications, software and supporting hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the platform and its integration with 3rd party systems in order to discover and document required modifications to improve both business and technical processing.

  • Drive to detailed requirements and translate them into technical requirements to be used by product development team(s).

  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify system gaps and deficiencies that require a business, technical, or blended approach for resolution

  • Diagram proposed modifications using architecture and data flow diagrams.

  • Document current state processes where documentation is missing or out of date.

  • Collaborate with staff, vendors, consultants, and contractors as they are engaged on tasks to facilitate, coordinate, formulate, detail, and test potential and implemented solutions.

  • Ensure documentation of requirements and uses cases are completed.

  • Facilitate requirements and design sessions for assigned projects.

  • Report to management on status of work for milestones and deliverables.

  • Provide analysis for opportunities to define and measure progress with metrics present findings to project team and management for adoption and implementation.

  • Must be proficient in business process management concepts on BPM tools. Strong experience in creating business process models.

  • Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

  • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

  • 5 years of experience building Microsoft Power Apps canvas applications.

  • Experience using Power Platform Premium Connectors, including SQL Server, Oracle, Twilio

  • SharePoint experience

  • SQL Development

  • Proficient in Microsoft TEAMS

  • The candidate must have exceptional written and oral communications skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, or related field
