A New York City retail company is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff Remotely as their new Site Reliability Engineer. In this role, the Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote) will be responsible for ensuring customer success through continuous service improvement via incident management analysis and promoting cross-organizational collaboration.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote) will:
- Ensure system availability and reliability of sites across all company brands.
- Collaborate with Development, QA and support teams to understand deployment practices, processes and work towards iteratively improving releases, scalability, and availability
- Improve system monitoring and alerting
- Provide subject matter expertise for functional and technical aspects of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
- Strong understanding of branching & merging strategies, and build setup
- Ensure reliable and secure production and pre-production environments
- Handle other duties, as needed
- 8+ years of hands-on professional experience leading a team of Dev Ops, Support and SREs
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Practical Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware experience
- Experience in defining and managing change management processes
- Experience with On-Call rotation as part of a medium size team.
- Experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools - Jenkins, Bitbucket
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- A history of incorporating an accepted industry-standard Software Development methodology
- Prior employment in a Fashion / multi-brand environment
- Experience with Jira and Agile Project Management
