RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Newport Beach, CA that is seeking a Remote OCM Communications Specialist. The OCM Communications Specialist will support the effort relating to readying the organization for the hybrid workplace. Approximately 70% of the time will be spent on communications and 30% will be spent on supporting the change leadership function: Communications:
  • OCM Communications Specialist will be driving execution of communication activities including writing intranet content, building, and designing intranet pages and SharePoint sites, writing, coordinating, and editing IT and facilities communications in coordination with SMEs and partners
  • Helping develop, create, edit, and curate content - including company news (both news briefs and in-depth articles), memos, Q&As, newsletters, presentations and more
  • Write strategic communication to audiences at different levels of the organization, and tailor the messaging accordingly
  • Working in a hands-on way with internal stakeholders (including HR, OCM lead and CMPs) to develop ideas and messaging that highlight ongoing or upcoming projects and initiatives
  • OCM Communications Specialist will be partnering with Communications team to help enhance the creative storytelling aspects of the assigned work
Change Leadership:
  • In support of Lead OCM and L&D Lead, OCM Communications Specialist will be coordinating communications, training development/delivery, workplace policy development/delivery, managing the change champion network, survey design and execution to monitor change performance metrics related to workplace transformation and employee satisfaction


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree
  • 5+ years of experience with internal business communications
  • 3+ years with organizational change management
  • Critical thinking skills to understand and address situations by processing and organizing facts, data, and other information to define a problem and develop effective solutions
  • Understanding of user behavior and demonstrated experience with communication and organizational change management best practices
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with project and content management are a must
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and maintain positive attitude
  • Comfortable interacting and collaborating at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (writing samples will be requested)
