The PDT team delivers hydrological and meteorological data collection solutions to customers around the world. The Manager of Systems Engineer will lead a small team that works closely with Sales and project managers to deliver these projects on-time by providing technical expertise such as integrated system design, validation, and testing.This role works closely with project managers and other functions to ensure engineering solutions meet customer requirements, and proposed solutions using 3rd party products meet both technical specifications and country specific compliance requirements, within the parameters of project schedule, and budget. This is a remote opportunity, but will be required to be on site when needed.Essential job functions:Responds to requests for information, reviews customer specifications, and submits comments and exceptions to ensure proposals are accurateResponsible for technical design sign-off prior to ordering equipmentResponsible for final post-testing sign-off prior to delivering completed system to customerProvide project pre-sales supportProvide project pre-sales quoting supportCreate detailed 2D electrical, installation, and product drawingsPrepare integrated system O manuals, project submittals, application notes and technical case studiesSupport with ISO 9001 documentation and auditsDesired skills/experience:BS degree in an Engineering discipline or related field, at minimum.
