As a  Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining strategic priorities and leading the execution of product implementation, adoption, enhancements, and delivery of our Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) product.

As a part of the Realogy Franchise Group (RFG) Operations department you will collaborate directly with brand leadership and brand SMEs across the organization. You will engage directly with Realogy’s 6 Brands including Colwell Banker, ERA Real Estate, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, The Corcoran Group, Century 21 and Sotheby’s International Realty as well as our Technology, Sales, and Operations Teams.

You should be excited about breaking down and solving complex problems. You should be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner; this includes being comfortable engaging with executives and other key stakeholders to build consensus, define an approach and rationale for prioritization, and communicate status of initiatives, findings, and escalations on a regular basis. As the Product Business Owner of the CRM you will lead the efforts in building the processes, procedures, and accountability standards for the CRM while working with teams to enhance the product.

What you’ll do:  

  • Create and maintain an ongoing product roadmap while owning the CRM strategy.

  • Work with the technical teams and business stakeholders to identify user and group needs when it comes to CRM and data projects.

  • Work with company leadership teams to understand specific needs and assist them through technology onboarding process and ensure seamless transition to our family of brands.

  • Define, prioritizing, and developing high quality products and features that deliver demonstrable customer and business value across the group.

  • Act as an ambassador for Agile best practices, lead sprint reviews and engage in daily stand ups and sprint retrospectives.

  • Define strategic priorities and leading execution of product implementation and delivery.

  • Liaise with Tech & Data team for internal CRM systems that administer and manage franchise agreements.

  • Work closely with designers and engineers to translate business requirements into detailed feature specifications in the form of user stories. 

  • Organize backlog based on clear understanding of cross-organizational priorities and business impact.

  • Communicate sprint deliverables and timelines to management and business stakeholders.

  • Explore and leverage new technologies – automation, interactive design methods to provide new solutions to complex customer problems.

  • Ensure alignment on product implementation across each brand by understanding their value proposition and unique set of needs across affiliates and brokerages.

  • Understand integration points to 3rd party systems and provide feedback to development teams to ensure data is passed properly between systems.

  • Become the subject matter expert on our CRM, providing support and training to department super users.

  • Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures for each task/functionality in the CRM.

  • Own the long-term CRM strategy which includes integrating multiple systems to ensure the Realogy Franchise Group has an end-to-end view of the customer journey.

  • Provide strategic thought leadership on the CRM product across all Realogy brands. 

  • Manage cross-brand customer complaint platform.

  • What you’ll need to succeed:  

  • Experience in reviewing technology solutions to ensure they meet business goals.

  • Proven track record managing data migration as part of large-scale IT transformation program.

  • Ability to craft clear, compelling recommendations supported by strong analysis and business logic, and articulate them to the organization to gain support for recommendations. 

  • Ability to understand and resolve blockers and delivery risk quickly.

  • Ability to create and deliver training to variety of audiences to drive product adoption.

  • Process focused mind set to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience managing resources across different functions of an organization. 

  • Comfort operating in a highly matrixed organization that relies on building support in other groups and the ability to influence through others, deliver results, and earn trust quickly of the organization and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, manage multiple deliverables simultaneously; take ownership of issue resolution and completion of deliverables.

  • Clearly identify and describe product backlog items and make decisions regarding the priority.

  • Ensure technology-driven and risk-remediation requirements are prioritized to prevent the accumulation of technical debt and other vulnerabilities.

  • What you’ll bring :

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.

  • 7+ years as a Product Owner/ Product Manager with a strong focus on CRM / Data projects. Salesforce experience highly preferred.

  • Experience with leading CRM tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce CRM.

  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies, OKR methodology, and software development lifecycle principles.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred.

  • Residential real estate brokerage knowledge preferred but not required.
