OVERVIEW

:

The Manager, Global Talent Development  is responsible for creating and executing inclusive talent development programs (e.g., new hire onboarding, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning). You will report to the Vice President of Global Talent Enablement, and partner with executive stakeholders, People & Culture leaders, and the Inclusion Counsel (DEI) to develop solutions that build the skills and competencies among our global workforce. The Manager, Global Talent Enablement will have three key areas of focus:

  • Contribute to building the short-term and long-term strategy of developing and delivering customized development solutions for aspiring, new, and senior people leaders globally.
  • Build and execute targeted skill development programs and learning resources for all talent to increase their overall business impact.
  • Identify key talent analytics and metrics that actively measure the impact of solutions implemented, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. Continuously evaluate and make ongoing stop, start, continue decisions in light of KPI results.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Align company-wide learning and development initiatives with Skillsoft’s overarching business strategy and culture.
  • Identify the learning requirements of all employees by conducting needs analysis on business impact, job requirements, operational problems, company plans and forecasts, and current learning solutions. Work with functional leaders to identify development needs globally.
  • Design, develop, and, in some cases, deliver custom instructor-led (virtual and classroom) and self-directed programs utilizing state-of-the-art learning technologies to meet critical development needs of the people manager population. Create engaging learning experiences and compelling course content that enhances retention and application of knowledge.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholder groups at once. Project manage the design and implementation of agreed-upon blended learning solutions with internal and external subject-matter experts.
  • Review, assess, and implement enhancements to current instructor-led programs and learning resources - utilizing a full range of learning technologies and Skillsoft’s learning content.
  • Develop methods and tools to measure the impact and effectiveness of various training initiatives.
  • Provide consultative and organizational development interventions on an as-needed basis.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, competency mapping, and instructional design are a must
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8-10 years of progressive Talent Management and Development experience in rapidly growing organizations
  • Strong instructional design and both asynchronous and synchronous training development and delivery capabilities
  • Strong virtual live and in-person facilitation skills
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Ability to consult and influence change and progress quickly a plus
