Recognized for two years as Star Tribune's Top Workplace, Banner is a rapidly growing company that offers many personal development opportunities, an excellent benefits package, and a collaborative team of employees who are passionate about what they do.Position SummaryTo support the Operations Department on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and other systems, lead proactive initiatives of investigating, documenting, and understanding the functionality of new and existing Oracle EBS components.Our corporate headquarters is based outside Minneapolis, and this position can be located either at our headquarters or your U.S. home office.This position reports to Business Analyst Manager.What You'll Be Doing Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needsRecommends and implements new actions, reports, and processes to increase end user efficienciesDocuments requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates solutions for Operations business needsIdentifies and implements process and system improvements; investigates new modules, patches, and upgrades as they become available from purchased solutions and work with management and other Business Analysts to implement those changesCommunicates Operations systems to users and department leaders; trains users and department leaders to use Operations systems effectivelyWorks closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) or super users in their functional areaCollaborates with IT to collect, clarify, vet, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developedEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with other Business Analysts, SMEs, and management across the organizationWhat You Bring to the Table To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and regular attendance is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to support individuals with disabilities.Required3-5 years of experience gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements specifications3-5 years of experience creating ad-hoc queries, using query tools in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL3-5 years of working experience in one or more EBS Modules: Inventory, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Warehouse Management (WMS), Work in Process (WIP), Material Planner, Quality, Purchasing, Bill of Material (BOM), or Cost Management2 years of experience training others on the use of OracleStrong analytical and problem solving skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skillsMust be well organized, efficient, detail-oriented, proactive, self-motived, and results-oriented with the ability to deliver quality and on-time resultsPreferredExperience using Oracle Support for service requests preferredExperience using QlikView, QlikSense or other BI tools preferredSupervisory Responsibilities NoneWhat to Expect at WorkPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
