ASF Payment Solutions, an EverCommerce brand, is looking for an experienced Back-end Software Engineer to join us in expanding and modernizing a platform that provides club management and billing solutions to fitness clubs.
You:
You love to build great products and view coding as just one of the tools in your toolbox. You also can put on the customer’s hat to see your product through their eyes. You have a bag of tricks for SaaS and API development, and you prefer to test your own code instead of throwing it over the wall.
Responsibilities:
Design and build new mission-critical payment processor integrations core to the business
Design and develop comprehensive automated unit, end-to-end, and regression tests

Experience and Skills
Must haves:
Degree or diploma in Computer Science/related field OR equivalent work experience
4+ years of professional software development experience in a web-based environment
Experience developing mission-critical APIs, integration components, and business logic in C#
Experience developing cloud-based services and storage - ideally in AWS
Working knowledge of HTTP and RESTful services, Services-Oriented Architecture, and AWS or similar public cloud platform
Proficient in SQL and knowledgeable in relational database schema design
Ability to learn quickly
Comfortable working largely independently, on a small, dynamic team
Ability to translate business goals into own work assignments and succeed with little management direction
Use best practices to document and write quality software
Encourages and accepts personal feedback
Can use judgement to solve problems where protocol might not exist
Nice to haves:
Background in eCommerce applications
Proficiency in front-end languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React
Familiarity with best practices for DevOps and SaaS deployment
Experience with techniques for unit testing, such as mocks and fakes
Commitment to Test-driven Development, continuous integration, and test automation
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Desire to debate and explore new technologies

Compensation:
The target base compensation for this role is $100,000-$125,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
