Deliver a consultative sales approach virtually by helping small business clients assess their payment processing needs and delivering solutions that address those needs. The target market is small business clients and prospects with annual revenues less than $5 million.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Focus on new business development by selling payment processing solutions to existing and prospective small business clients virtually.
2. Perform outbound calls to profile prospective merchant clients and qualify sales opportunities, as well as accept inbound referrals from the Retail Community Bank.
3. Consult with merchants to identify payment processing needs and deliver a comprehensive proposal.
4. Coordinate the gathering of all necessary documentation from prospective clients to facilitate the closing of a sale.
5. Manage lead and referral pipelines effectively, logging all sales activities in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Adhere to policies, processes, and scripting recommendations in order to executive on sales strategies.
7. Conduct periodic training sessions for the Retail Community Bank to include identifying prospects, product and service offerings, and understanding the benefits and risks of merchant services.
8. Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of existing and new payment processing technologies, as well as industry, Bank, and client change and trends.
9. Identify Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) opportunities for other banking services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Associate’s degree, or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. 1 year of sales experience
3. Accomplished interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to close the sale
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills
5. Self-starter with the ability to work productively without close supervision
6. Solid technical comprehension skills with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer application, such as Microsoft Office software products
8. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Preferred Qualifications:
1. 4 year degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Computer Science, or elated studies
2. One year of sales experience in telesales, telemarketing, and/or merchant services
