Our client is an established medical communications agency within a larger publishing firm. This agency is 30+ people and growing.
They have has several specialized areas of Medical Education they seek an Associate Medical Editor, a Medical Editor and a Senior Medical Editor

The Role You Will Play

• Develop and maintain knowledge in assigned therapeutic areas
• Develop and format PowerPoint slide presentations used for online and live educational programs
• Fact check content for accuracy
• Assist in developing newsletters, medical manuscripts, medical education monographs, case based e-learning activities, and conference coverage, as needed

Background Profile

• Highly proficient in the use of PowerPoint
• Great skill in developing tables and figures, working with slide masters, etc
•  Outstanding researching skills
• Able to translate complex scientific information into practical communications
• Understanding of AMA style a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal in English)
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with Workfront or other project management software a plus
• Deadline driven, results-oriented, accurate, and analytical
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with input/guidance from medical affairs team members
• Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities

• • Associate Medical Editor: at least 1-year prior editorial experience; for continuing education preferred
  • Medical Editor: at least 1-2 years’ prior editorial experience; for continuing education preferred
  • Senior Medical Editor; 3 plus years experience
