RPG Technical Lead
Location: Hartford, CT/Remote
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE
 
 
US Citizens and Green Cards Preferred. No Third party Corp to Corp
 
What You Will Do:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the development team.
  • Lead status meetings with the development and management teams.
  • Resolve issues and challenges associated with a project.
  • Provide estimates for planning and technical direction for the management team and the client.
  • Work with the management team to track daily progress and identify risks for the project.
  • Provide support to the client release teams during the QA cycles.
  • Support the Software Engineers with coding when required.
 
Skills Required:
  • Must be experienced with AS400 iSeries, RPG400, RPG ILE, CL ILE, SQL ILE, DB2
  • Should have Healthcare domain background and sound knowledge of Claims and Adjudication process
  • Knowledge of COBOL is nice to have
  • Knowledge of ASNA Visual RPG is nice to have
  • Good Analytical and design skills
  • Prefer with knowledge or work experience in Agile methodology/framework
  • Should have good communication and interaction skills
  • Should have hands on experience of writing technical design documents using MS Visio and understanding of sequence diagram, class diagrams etc.
