Together, we're working at the pace of change on diagnostic tools that address the world's biggest health challenges, driven by knowing that behind every test there is a patient waiting.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.Through strong understanding of needs and expectations of the customer, the (Sr) Manager, Global Marketing, for the Hospital segment will work cross functions to build a Global/Developed markets customer-centric segment strategy that aligns with organizational objectives to meet/exceed business goals.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Define, deliver, and execute upon strategic marketing plan:Drive the upstream (3-5 year) commercial, product, and service strategy to ensure growth in the Hospital commercial segments, building upon Cepheid's class leading infectious disease and oncology franchise.Support strategic planning activities and explore long term growth opportunities for Cepheid.Monitor and analyze market data to identify Global market trends and opportunities.Translate customer needs into opportunities, deliverables and effective internal and external communication.Lead cross functional team in opportunity definition with clear objectives and effective operational plan for successful and timely execution.Learn, utilize and lead through Danaher Business System (DBS) principles.Build Alignment between Regional Segment Marketing (RSM) and Global Product Management (GPM) Teams:Partner with RSM to deepen understanding of local markets and ensure broader alignment and cohesion of strategic planning.Partner with Global Product Marketing to facilitate up front New Product Development (NPD) efforts and consult throughout product development processes to ensure product and segment alignment.Partner with MedSci, R, GPM, Sales and Operations team to ensure successful launch of new products.Cepheid, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
