BASIC FUNCTION
We are seeking a VP of Sales who has experience managing B2B SaaS and leading experienced Sales teams in driving growth and profitability across the Nutrition portfolio! This person will oversee and direct the sales function for our Nutrition Sales team, while tracking and managing given client relationships. This person must be capable of quickly learning new business domains as well as working in a team environment. You must be passionate about delivering high quality, maintainable software to the our schools!

The Vice-President, Nutrition Sales leads LINQ's nutrition sales teams, including field sales representatives, inside sales representatives, solution engineers, and sales associates. Responsible for more than $10M in SaaS bookings, this position is critical to the success of the company and requires a leader that can recruit and retain top talent, manage to metrics, and most importantly, deliver results.
The position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and has six managers as direct reports. Understanding, aligning, communicating, and training on key differentiators is critically important and requires the leader to roll up their sleeves and get deep into the value of the solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Align the team on key value drivers and ensure all members of the team understand and can communicate those differentiators
  • Establish and enhance metrics for measuring the performance of various groups within the team as well as the performance of the team as a whole, including leading indicators such as activities, pipeline generation (with lead source), pipeline velocity, and close rate
  • Identify competitors in the market using data from salesforce (loss reason and loss competitor) and develop strategies to beat them
  • Analyze performance data to drive improvements through methods, procedures, and training
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Manage deal desk requests, big deal review, RFP analysis, and the QBR process for the nutrition sales team
  • Responsible for the budget process, including managing team expenditures and remaining within budget guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven track record in leading SaaS sales teams, as measured by performance against quota
  • Strong business planning and forecasting skills
  • Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • SaaS experience required
  • Salesforce report knowledge preferred
  • K-12 education experience preferred, but not required
