Together, we're pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.General Summary:The Sr. Compensation Analyst - Sales Incentives is responsible for the execution and administration of our Sales compensation and incentive plans, reporting on results, and investigating inquiries. With a strong adherence to process and data integrity, the successful candidate will be responsible for this critical program and interact the global Sales, Finance, and Human Resources functions at all levels.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, dynamic individual who is analytical, capable of independent analysis and preparation of sophisticated data. This person will be technically proficient and have experience managing sensitive financial and personnel data. This position will be tasked with managing our automated tools for compensation planning and management, optimization of the processes as needed, and bringing new insights, technologies, and experience to the team.Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate with Sales Leadership in the planning, budgeting, and design of the company's annual Sales compensation and incentives programs.Manage and administer Phenomenex's Compensation Process for the global Sales organization including automated tools integrated with our financial and commercial databases.Performs activities needed for the design, development, implementation, communication, and administration of incentive programs, plans, policies, and quotas.Conduct extensive analysis on Sales incentive compensation programs and support continued evolution of such programs to align the interests of business unit senior leadershipTogether with Sales and Marketing leadership, develop SPIF's (Sales Performance Incentive Fund) for product launches and other initiatives. Create global and regional CRM and/or PowerBI dashboards to build visibility and tracking for SPIF programs.Manage and coordinate all incentive calculations and payouts through an automated workflow, in partnership with regional Finance and Payroll teams.Ensure accuracy of data and performance measurements for each manager and sales/service associate.Manage all incentive compensation approval processes and ensure proper documentation that is always audit-ready.Analyze the results of market surveys and other evaluation tools to ensure that the company's compensation rates remain equitable and competitive within the industry.Gather data and perform statistical analysis, and interpretation, of information to develop and adjust compensation plans in cooperation with regional leadership and Finance teams.Conduct annual analysis of compensation process, evaluate data integrity, summarize results, produce reports, and present findings to decision-makers.Stay abreast of pending changes, market trends, and legislation that will affect incentive compensation administration globally.Train Sales associates to ensure that guidelines are understood and matrices are applied correctly, resolving issues when concerns arise.Create models and projections for incentive programs, showing annual and fiscal impact for each alternative.Experience and Education:Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience in sales compensation.Experience managing, designing, and implementing incentive compensation plans and toolsExperience implementing and maintaining compensation plans through automated compensation management toolsRequired Knowledge and Skills:Identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to deliver business resultsFinancial planning and analysis skills.Ability to work with deadlines and prioritize tasks.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is required.Proficient in qualitative and quantitative data analyses and presentation/visualization (MS Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).Knowledge of data integration and management to ensure data integrity through automated processes for compensation management.Solid working knowledge of ERP, Financial, and CRM systemsEffectively communicate with all levels through team interactions or presentations to clearly articulate strategic objectives and resultsAbility to explain Sales compensation throughout the organization.When you join us, you'll also be joining Danaher's global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
