Data Conversion: Design, develop, test, deliver high quality code to perform various types of Allscripts conversions for new and existing clients Ownership of assigned data conversion projects. Demonstrate proficiency with data conversion development and implementation tools used by the team Provide expert level knowledge of Allscripts data schema Ability to build and maintain new tools sets Communicates and informs conversion clients regarding conversions requirements, options, process and status Provide high quality support to end users and other departments in relation to conversion process and development Evaluates the feasibility of a custom programming or a data fix as needed Evaluates data conversion specifications and plans for Implementation with customer/vendors for those that deviate from standard Install conversion software on customer's servers Obtain Client Test and Live Conversion Approval forms from conversion clients Produce conversion client and programmer documentation for completed conversions Resolves and or transfers SFDC cases to appropriate department Updates Clarity conversion projects Provides De-conversion services for legacy Allscripts product lines Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Line or Project Manager. Interface: Design, develop, test, deliver high quality code to perform various types of Allscripts interfaces for new and existing clients Ownership of assigned interface project deliverables. Document Interface specifications and plans for Implementation with customer/vendors. Provide expert level knowledge of Allscripts data schema Provide expert knowledge of HL7 and IHE interface technologies. Provide expert knowledge of Enterprise Networking technologies. Install software and interface definition on customer's servers Create test plan templates and test with customer/vendor to insure that functionality meets the needs of the customer Provide interface and related workflow solutions within the guidelines of the interface team's custom request procedures. Provide technical assistance to other departments in relation to interface development and installation. Provide 3rd level interface support Obtain Client Test and Live Conversion Approval forms from interface clients Resolves and or transfers SFDC cases to appropriate department Provide customer training on the operation and mitigation of Interfaces. Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Line or Project Manager. Academic and professional qualifications AS or Bachelors Degree in relevant technical field, (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, or related technical discipline), or equivalent combination of training and work experience. Experience 4 or more years in related responsibilities depending on education level. Experience with data extraction required. Strong SQL expertise. Healthcare IT Ideal. Touchworks experience ideal. Travel requirements minimal - US based Working arrangements May be required to work overtime or split shift during peak demand periods.
