Position Summary

Intensity is looking for an experienced and hungry Vice President of Sales that will hit the ground running in expanding their current client portfolio.  The VP will lead the establishment of the sales organization team providing direction, leadership and accountability for the overall performance of the firm's business development efforts.  They will be responsible for spearheading revenue growth through relationship building, networking and identifying strategies to improve short, as well as long-term earnings.  The VP will have a history of identifying business opportunities and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.     

Primary Responsibilities

  • Align the organization's objectives with the business strategy through strategic planning, forecasting, sales resource planning and sales development.
  • Identify business opportunities by finding relevant prospects, evaluating and researching their specific caseload.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry players and standards.
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity to provide useful feedback to the company leadership team.
  •  Evaluate market trends to successfully target the appropriate client base.
  • Manage client expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Augment the brand's equity by building a positive brand perception through meaningful relationships.
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction for accounts.
  • Set performance and financial goals and attain them through team direction and management.
  • Assess, evaluate, and report on overall team and individual team member performance. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience selling high-end consulting services directly to law firms
  • Must have a strong knowledge and experience selling services specifically into IP Litigation firms or Antitrust Litigation firms
  • Ability to distinguish between commodity work and value-based work
  • Demonstrable ability and proven track record in strategy-building and implementation
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close 
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • A self-starter who is able to work independently to effectively and efficiently build meaningful business relationships
  • Excellent and proven track record of revenue and profit growth
  • Confident and articulate speaking abilities
  • Strategic leadership abilities and a team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization including executive and C-level
